Our wish is that small businesses will be successful. They provide 80% of the employment in the United States. Without them, we face even greater economic problems in our country. I believe we should support the best of the small business and I think Susan does a fabulous job. I think you can trust her to do a good job for whatever special occassion demands flowers.

Luling Texas supported two flower shops until 2015. Big box retailers (the local grocery store) began selling flowers in a major way about a year ago. And, that put my shop out of business. Luling is a very small town and with the local grocery store providing half of the service in town (the quickie gift flowers) there just wasn't enough business left for two shop. I was also just plain tired of the retail rat race. So I decided to close my shop. Our competitor is very good at what she does and I even buy flowers from her now.
